Well, “Mac” belongs to Catherine Bell-or rather, that cute little haircut does! And Maybe you've often thought, “Her hair would be so much cuter if she could just glam it up!” And Catherine does! When she steps out of the </B><I><B>JAG</B></I><B> military garb, the television star twirls those layers and tousles those locks to create a beautiful silhouette!</B><FONT SIZE="4" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" > </FONT></div> <bR> <div> <B>“I was a tomboy when I was a kid,” admits the beautiful Catherine. “I didn't figure out the makeup or cute hair or clothes until my junior year of high school.” Obviously the star figured it out right, because it looks fantastic! In fact, at age 19, Catherine went on to become a runway model before starting her acting career. However, the star professes that even though she knows all about the beauty thing, she still has a bit of that original tomboy in her. It's fun to be a woman and be sexy and feminine,” she says. “But it's also fun to hang out with the guys.”</B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" > </FONT></div> <bR> <bR> <div> <B>As for that cute little haircut, stylist Laura Connolly, who has worked with Catherine on </B><I><B>JAG</B></I><B>, explains that it's all part of the regulation. “Catherine's character is in the military, and a regulation military cut has to come above the collar, and be able to go behind the ear.” Of course, since Catherine herself isn't in the military, there are a few styles details added in. “Her hair is cut in a version of the bob, but it's a little longer in the back. At the nape, it has a little layer that just barely tips up on the end to form a flip. She also has longer bangs.”</B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" > </FONT></div> <bR> <bR> <div> <B>For the show, Catherine's hair is simply styled with a round brush and blow-dryer to create a smooth, conservative silhouette. In her private life, though, the star lets loose with a bit more texture. “Catherine has a little bit of a wave pattern to her hair,” shares Connolly.
